Kim Zolciak-Biermann recently shared heartbreaking news about the death of a close family member. She said her “heart is so broken” by the death of the loved one.
It hasn’t been the easiest time for the Biermann family. Kim, her husband Kroy Biermann, and her daughter Brielle Biermann all tested positive for COVID-19 last year. Fortunately, they all recovered safely, but it was a stressful time nonetheless.
The family show, Don’t Be Tardy, was also canceled by Bravo!

After eight seasons on the air, TMZ has confirmed that the reality TV series has not been picked up for a ninth season. This means that fans will not be able to follow the life of his family – Kroy Biermann and the daughters of Kim Brielle and Ariana.
About a month ago, TMZ reported that “Bravo felt the series had just run its course after 8 years of documenting the famous family.”
And luckily, there doesn’t seem to be any disagreement between Bravo and the Biermanns.
“The Biermann family are extremely grateful for their 13-plus-year relationship with Bravo and NBC Universal,” Kim told The Daily Dish at the time.
She continued:
“We appreciate and greatly appreciate the support of all of our fans as we continue to grow in the entertainment industry. In times of significant growth, there are steps to take strategically, but rest assured, you will be seeing the entertainment again very soon. Biermann family on your TV screens, grab a glass of wine and stay tuned.
Over the years, fans have come to know the Atlanta family extremely well, including Kim’s grandmother, Grandma Rose. But in a heartbreaking update, Kim revealed that Grandma Rose passed away a few days ago.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share this heartbreaking news. I (we) lost our grandmother Rose yesterday, ”Kim shared on Instagram. “Most of you know her in RHOA / Don’t Be Tardy as“ Psychic Rose. ”She has been an integral part of my family’s life for over 20 years.
Kim shared three photos of Grandma Rose, two of her and her great-grandchildren, and one of her with Kim.
“Rose is one of the most amazing people I have EVER met and I just can’t imagine our life without her,” the Kim legend continued. “She was full of wisdom and was one of the most spirited people I have ever met! She took me under her wing and never hesitated on my side.
Kim added that she named her daughter after her grandmother, as the two share a birthday.
“I named ‘Kaia Rose’ in her honor and they even share the same birthday. I love you, Grandma Rose. My heart is so broken,” she wrote. “Until that. we saw each other again. “
