Lauren Boebert reminded everyone that she was a homophobic outlet this week when she attacked the US Naval Academy for tweeting her support for members of LGBTQ services.
It all started when the academy tweeted a pride message that read: “During #PrideMonth, the US Naval Academy celebrates the diversity of our aspirants and our workforce, and promotes the dignity, equality of rights and assertiveness of the LGBTQ + community. “
No one was more offended by the post than Boebert, who tweeted a screenshot of the image alongside a screenshot of a piece of Soviet WWII propaganda, with the caption : “I’m sure Russia is scared with our new awakened PR campaign.”
But Boebert’s tweet, while vile, isn’t the least bit surprising.
The member for “family values” has often displayed her hatred for LGBTQ people. In March, she said she opposed the equality law because it encouraged “the supremacy of gays, lesbians and transvestites.” And last month, she laughed at non-binary people when she announced that her pronoun is “patriotic.”

And last week she accused the Liberals of legalizing the spread of HIV for working to end homophobic HIV exposure laws.
Seriously, it must be exhausting to be so obnoxious.
