BIOGRAPHY OF NEILL BLOMKAMP
Neill Blomkamp was born and studied in Johannesburg, where, at 16, he met his future fetish actor, Sharlto Copley, 6 years his senior. It was Copley himself who made the computers of his production company available to him, where the future director developed his talents for the3D animation and design, also putting them at the service of the actor’s projects. At 18 he moved to Canada with his family and graduated from Vancouver Film School in the 3D animation and special effects program.
