BIOGRAPHY OF OLIVIA BONAMY
Actress. The only descendant of one of the richest noble families in Europe, she is the daughter of Baron Alphonse James De Rothschild III and Alexandria. She studies acting while attending art history courses and when she is 20 she is noticed by Patrice Leconte who offers her a part in his play ‘Ornifle’. Her big screen debut came in 1995 with a small role in Pierre Granier-Deferre’s ‘Dangerous Guests’, before joining the cast of James Ivory’s ‘Jefferson in Paris’ that same year. However, the film that gives her a more prominent role is ‘On my lips’ (2001), by Jacques Audiard, in which she plays the best friend of the character played by Emanuelle Devos. After a few films in which she has increasingly marginal roles, in 2006 she was chosen as the absolute protagonist of the horror film ‘Them’ which achieved good international success and brought her to the attention of the general public. The following year he starred opposite Daniel Auteuil in the thriller ‘The Last Mission’, by Olivier Marchal. In 1999 she married the economist and businessman Fatafehi Tupoumalohi, born on the island of Tonga and living in the United States.
