Prince William and Prince Harry are said to have fought at Prince Philip’s funeral.
On Saturday (June 26), the Daily Mail reported that “a few minutes after the siblings entered the castle and beyond the view of the camera, they started to quarrel again”.
A longtime friend told the outlet that “they were at each other’s throats as fiercely as ever.”
“The rage and anger between these two has grown incredibly deep. Too many harsh and hurtful things have been said,” they added.
Reports suggest their friends, family and royals are trying to help the brothers redeem themselves. Prince William and Prince Harry will unveil a statue in honor of their late mother, Princess Diana, on July 1.
Insiders told The Sun the brothers have called for a truce for the event which would mark what would have been Princess Diana’s 60th birthday. The private event will take place at Kensington Palace and marks the first time Prince William and Prince Harry have been in the same location since Prince Philip’s funeral.
“Harry and William have only been communicating by text since the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral. There were no personal or proper discussions, just a very brief and minimal exchange of text messages, ”a source reported.
According to a source on the planning committee, the brothers will visit the palace together instead of the statue unveiling and give two separate speeches.
“The boys will be dating out of respect for their mother, but there has been no reconciliation,” they noted.
