Two of the young actors in the 2003 School of Rock comedy starring Jack Black have now grown up and are apparently dating in real life. Brought to attention by a TikTok fan’s “big IG scroll” in the film’s story, it was discovered that Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who were in the class featured in the film, seemingly reconnected from the years later, and seem to have been a couple for quite some time now.
In the film, unlucky, musician Dewey Finn (Jack Black) fraudulently accepts a job as a substitute teacher at a prep school and quickly turns the classroom into a rock ‘n’ roll education for his young students.
Hale played Marta, one of a trio of backing vocals for the child-centered group, while Angelo played Frankie, who was in charge of security in the film. The two child actors have participated in the reunion of the cast over the years and appear to be in a relationship since 2018, according to Pop Sugar. Angelo’s other credits include appearances in HBO’s The Sopranos and the Stuart Little 2 movie. Hale, meanwhile, appears to have recovered from the acting bug with two projects announced in recent months according to IMDB. But for the two child stars, the last few years have been devoted to other activities.
