BIOGRAPHY OF TERENCE DAVIES
Film director. He won seventeen awards for his film “Distant Voices … always present” (1988), including the Critics’ Award at the 1998 Cannes Film Festival. His second film, “The long day ends” was selected in the 1992 for the competitive section of the Cannes Film Festival. In 1995 he directed “Serenata alla luna”, starring Gena Rowlands, also selected for the Cannes competition. “The House of Joy” (2000) won the British Independent Film Award.
