BIOGRAPHY OF TONI COLLETTE
She is one of the emerging actresses most appreciated by Australian critics. Winner in 1994 of the most important film award in her country, thanks to the interpretation of the main female character in the film “Muriel’s Wedding”, 1994, Toni Collette started acting in the theater since 1992 (Chekov favorite author), in Sidney Company. The debut on the big screen dates back to 1991, with the film “Spotswood”, but the first public success was in 1996 with “Emma”. Other titles from his artistic curriculum are: “The Clockwatchers” (1997), “The Pallbearer” (1996), “Cosi” (1996), “The Boys” (1997), and “The Sixth Sense” with Bruce Willis. Thanks to the latter film (in which she is Lynn Sear), she received an Oscar 2000 nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
