Fox News personality Tucker Carlson embarked on a hateful rant when his show aired on September 3. In it, he used transgender rights to attack the Biden administration and championed a new anti-abortion law in Texas.
Carlson began by attacking White House press secretary Jen Psaki over an exchange with a reporter earlier in the week. The reporter questioned Biden’s support for abortion rights because Biden is a practicing Catholic. Psaki retaliated by saying that Biden supported a woman’s right to choose despite her faith.
“I know you have never faced these choices and have never been pregnant,” Psaki told the reporter.
This comment apparently triggered Carlson, as he used the comment to start attacking transgender people.

“She should know that men can get pregnant now,” Carlson said, referring to a small minority of transgender men who choose to get pregnant. “Scientists tell us that every day. It’s on the cover of magazines. I think it’s on the cover of People magazine right now, a guy that’s pregnant.
For the record, a pregnant man does not appear on the cover of People this week. The cover features an image of Lil Nas X taken from the cover of his upcoming album which depicts him pregnant. FYI, Lil Nas X is not pregnant.
“Now what does that mean?” Carlson continued. “This means that abortion is now a men’s business. The men are carriers of children. So men, guys, have the same right to choose to terminate their pregnancy, and they have the right to influence the policy itself.
“It’s not a women’s issue anymore, Jen Psaki,” Carlson added.
In the same segment, Carlson also equated anti-vaccine and anti-mask protesters with abortion supporters.
Tucker Carlson has long attacked the LGBTQ community, with particular distaste for transgender people. Last month, he called transgender people “satanic” in a conversation with right-wing columnist Jason Whitlock. In May, he attacked the Biden administration for supporting the rights of transgender children to medical treatment. In April, Carlson claimed that transgender people threaten the future of humanity.
