Valeria will return to work with Calopreste in Happiness costs nothing (2003) and The binge (2007). In the meantime, however, there was a good role for Marco Bellocchio in The nurse (1999). The acquired artistic maturity tickled her desire to put herself also behind the camera, writing, directing and interpreting in 2003 It is easier for a camel ... She returned to direct two more times, in 2007 with Actresses and in 2013 with A castle in Italy. All three personal works feature autobiographical elements.
