Pride Month may be over, but singer Kelly Rowland wants to remind you “Pride is EVERY DAY”. The former Destiny’s Child singer surprised and thrilled fans around the world yesterday when she revealed that her latest track – in collaboration with Amorphous – is a new track that borrows heavily from the 1991 Ce Ce Peniston classic, “Finally”.
(Sidenote: Yeah, that song came out 30 years ago.)
Rowland posted a clip of herself singing to the track “Finally (Cannot Hide It)” on her Instagram account, waving a rainbow flag and fooling around with a rainbow inflatable. The track features a sample of the original Ce Ce Peniston.
The track was recorded with Amorphous, with additional production work by MNEK. The latter also contributed an additional verse.

Amorphous is the musical nickname for 23-year-old Jimir Reece Davis. The Philadelphia native who is now based in Los Angeles has made a name for himself with his music mashups. He is about to release his first EP, Things Take Shape, which includes this track, next week. ‘Finally (Cannot Hide It)’ is credited to Amorphous (feat. Kelly Rowland and Ce Ce Peniston).
