Who is the little girl with the big voice in America’s Got Talent? Meet 9-year-old Victory Brinker.
The Tuesday August 17th live show ended with Brinker performing a jaw-dropping rendition of “Casta Diva”, which earned him a standing ovation.
After the show, Judge Simon Cowell sang his praises to People.
“I think [Victory] is an authentic and genuine star. I can see her do records, concerts, movies, everything, “Cowell said.” She’s got something special about her. She is incredibly talented. She was fantastic on the audition show but she was exceptional tonight. “
Brinker later told the outlet: “I think I could win it all.”
As the leader of the competition, she has already thought about what she would do with the $ 1 million prize and the Luxor Residence in Las Vegas.
“If I win it then Simon will have a rainbow shirt and he will look fabulous,” Brinker said, referring to her audition where she suggested Cowell brighten up her wardrobe.
Brinker is from Latrobe, PA and started singing at the age of 2. At the age of six, she decided to focus on opera and learned to sing in seven different languages. She sang at church, talent shows and fairs. She was soon offered to perform at larger events, such as singing the Pittsburgh Pirates National Anthem as well as performances at New York’s Carnegie Hall and the Apollo Theater.
It wasn’t the first time Brinker appeared on NBC. In April 2020, she appeared on the Little Big Shots show where she performed a German song from the opera, “The Magic Flute”. AGT’s producers discovered her there and asked her to try it out for the show.
Brinker auditioned for the show with “Juliet’s Waltz”. After finishing his performance, Cowell asked his fellow speechless judges and host Terry Crews to speak privately in a group. They decided to give Brinker the group’s very first golden buzzer.
America’s Got Talent airs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC.
