Five years later he plays the film version directed by Walter Lang, in the role of the exotic king of Siam with whom he won the Oscar in 1956. His character is linked to other blockbusters: “Solomon and the Queen of Sheba” (1959) by King Vidor, with Lollobrigida, where he replaced Tyron Power who died during filming; “The Ten Commandments” (1956) by Cecil Blount De Mille, in the role of Pharaoh Ramesses.
