Billie Eilish has revealed how Justin Bieber has helped her deal with the pressures of fame.
In a recent interview with Sirius XM’s The Morning Mash Up, she praised her famous boyfriend. When she was twelve she was a huge Belieber herself and he was even her first celebrity crush. The two eventually met at Coachella in 2019 and kept in touch.
“He’s just the sweetest baby ever. I love it. He’s a good friend of mine, ”she shared.
Eilish revealed that conversations with him help him cope with whatever is going on in his career.
“He’s been very helpful to me, in terms of stardom management. And he calls me sometimes and just says stuff to me that just makes me feel heard and like there’s someone else out there out there. is living the same thing. So it’s really nice to have it, “Eilish admitted.
Although she quickly became a household name, she never believed she would reach this level of fame.
“I didn’t think I was close at all at all. I didn’t think I would get anything,” she shared. “There were a lot of markers that when I hit them I was like, they don’t, I don’t know. I never could have thought that would happen in my life.”
In 2020, Bieber opened up about wanting to protect the “Bad Guy” singer in an interview with Apple Music.
“It was hard for me to be so young and to be in the industry and not know who to turn to and everyone telling me they love me and turn their backs on you in a second, so if she ever needs me, I’ll be here for her, ”Bieber said at the time.
“I just want to protect her,” he added. “I don’t want her to go through everything I’ve been through. I don’t wish that on anyone. If she ever needs me, I’m just a phone call away.”
