Caitlyn Jenner tried to sneak to Australia to film a reality show during the campaign’s home stretch

In case you need more proof that Caitlyn Jenner’s gubernatorial campaign is a complete farce, the 71-year-old is currently in Australia to film a reality show two months before the election.

Queerty reported last week that Jenner landed in Australia, where she would be making an appearance on Big Brother VIP. But before she can film anything, she has to complete a mandatory 14-day hotel quarantine.

Before Jenner left, she tried to keep her trip down as vague as possible, telling her followers that she was just going somewhere to “honor a professional engagement” and that she didn’t have the intends to suspend his gubernatorial campaign.

I honor a work commitment I made before I even decided to run for governor. There is no break at all on this run to save CA!

She followed up with another tweet assuring people that she and her campaign were still “in full swing” … despite being over 8,000 miles from California for several weeks on the home stretch. of the race.

My campaign team is fully operational, as am I. I’m in this race to win for California because it’s worth fighting for.

When the word got out, the “work engagement” was actually a trip halfway around the world to film an appearance on a reality show, which she was reportedly paid $ 500,000 for, they all made a collective wink.

With all due respect, Ms Jenner, as an Australian, Sydney is in the middle of a lockdown. Our own citizens cannot even return home because the government has halved the number of people who can return, but you are allowed in👎👎

Please go home.

You are running in fourth place among the contenders for the GOP. I’m glad you’re all here because soon you’ll be out. Make the most of your time on Big Brother. I bet you’ll be knocked out the first week.

Wait. Do you really think you have a campaign to pursue? It’s cute.

Australia is currently on lockdown after seeing a surge in coronavirus cases. It has also limited the number of inbound air passengers it receives to just 3,000 people per week.

The fact that Jenner was allowed into the country as more than 30,000 Australian citizens are currently stranded abroad awaiting return home and almost no other foreigners are allowed in, adds a layer of d indignation at all of this.

Jenner is currently in the process of voting at 6%, which places her in fourth place among GOP contenders in hopes of toppling Gov. Gavin Newsom. She dismissed her low numbers, telling reporters earlier this month: “Honestly, I’m not concerned about the ballot. I guarantee you I’m in the lead.
