Enzo G.Castellari, recognized worldwide as a master of genre films, is one of the greatest Italian directors of action films. With his works he has not only spread Italian cinema internationally but has even become an icon to imitate and follow for great directors such as, for example, Bob Rodriguez and Quentin Tarantino. Not surprisingly, Tarantino himself declared that he was inspired by the master in the production of his films, arriving at the Cannes Film Festival ’09 “Inglorious Basterds”, a re-make of “Quel cursedetto armato” by Enzo G.
