The American actor and filmmaker, George Clooney was born on May 6, 1961 to Nina Bruce and Nick Clooney. He started his professional acting career through television in 1978 and first garnered recognition through his role as Dr. Doug Ross in medical drama ER which was aired from 1994 to 1999. After gaining popularity through television work, George Clooney started landing roles films.
