Lady Gaga returns to Sin City!
Mother Monster took to Instagram to announce her plans to relaunch one of her two residences in Las Vegas, Jazz & Piano. The show, which originally launched in 2019, features reimagined versions of its biggest hits as well as material from The Great American Songbook.
It will return to the Park Theater at Park MGM on October 14 with nine shows scheduled until October 31.
Tickets for Gaga’s fall shows will be available for pre-order on August 24. Interested little monsters can register for information and view all dates on the official show website. Tickets will be available to the general public on August 28 at 10 a.m. PT.
Jazz & Piano returns shortly after “Rain On Me” singer is set to release her collaborative album with jazz legend Tony Bennett. The album, titled Love For Sale, features covers by Cole Porter and arrives October 1.
The duo also teamed up for a pair of intimate shows in New York City earlier this month. Bennett’s son and manager has since told Variety they will be the legend’s last concerts.
Earlier this summer, Mother Monster revealed plans to postpone her entire Chromatica Ball until 2022 due to the ongoing pandemic. “While some parts of the world are opening up quickly, others are not yet ready,” she explained in an official statement shared with Billboard.
“So, until we can confirm all the world dates, we have to postpone The Chromatica Ball shows until the summer of 2022.” Gaga has been extremely cautious about the risks posed by the pandemic and wore a mask throughout her performance at the 2020 MTV VMAs.
While the pandemic has derailed most of the promo the hit-maker had scheduled to support Chromatica, it continues to move forward with a highly anticipated remix album. We don’t have a release date for the project yet. However, there is a list of star collaborators linked to the project, including Grimes, Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama.
There is no news yet on whether Gaga plans to revive her other Vegas residence, Enigma. Hopefully we will know more about his other projects in the near future.
