After announcing last week that his first album will be released on September 17, Lil Nas X unveiled its cover yesterday.
It features the nude rapper, floating against a trippy psychedelic backdrop that features clouds, waterfalls, ancient Greek-style buildings, wildlife, and lush nature. Oh, and her body is wrapped in a circular rainbow.
The image quickly racked up over a million likes on its Instagram and 225,000 likes on Twitter. Her fans were quick to praise her and analyze the details, with some realizing her floaty figure’s figure had featured in recent videos.

In a subsequent tweet, Lil Nas X posted a tweet crediting the artist who inspired the cover. He was influenced by John Stephens’ biblical work ‘(Genesis II)’… a fact that is sure to further upset evangelicals who have already decided that the rapper is an instrument of Satan.
