Marco Bocci is the stage name of Marco Bocciolini, born on August 4, 1978 in Marsciano, in the province of Perugia. He moved to Rome to study acting at the Theater Conservatory of Dramatic Art “La Scaletta” and after graduating he threw himself headlong into a thriving theater career. Success comes with the entry into the cast of the series Criminal novel (2008), in which he plays the commissioner Nicola Scialoja, charged with investigating the traffic of the Banda della Magliana. The two seasons are a real success and consecrate the career of Bocci and the actor himself as a sex symbol, so much so that soon even in the cinema he begins to emerge with more important roles. In 2009 he is the protagonist together with David Coco of the dramatic The beautiful company with Maria Grazia Cucinotta is Raoul Bova. Strengthened by the success of the police drama, in 2014 he met again on the set two of his old acquaintances, Bova and Cortellesi, in Sorry if I exist! of Riccardo Milani, a comedy in which he plays the gay boyfriend of the character of Raoul. In a short time he was also offered leading roles, first in Italo (2014), choral comedy built around friendship with the dog of the same name, and in The need to unite with you every time (2015), a love story with Claudia Gerini. On TV Bocci is Aladino in the miniseries One Thousand and One Nights – Aladdin and Sherazade (2012) and in 2016 he is the absolute protagonist of another successful detective series, Only, where is the undercover agent Marco Pagani.
