Mark Robert Michael Wahlberg was born in June 1971 in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts, to a mother who was a bank employee and a father who was a unionist and truck driver. He is the youngest of nine siblings. Cocaine addict already at the age of 13, at 15 and at 16 he was arrested for racially motivated assaults. Between 2013 and 2014 collaborates with another rather energetic guy, the director Michael Bay, which first involved him in the (relatively) low budget film Pain & Gain, then even builds the second Transformers saga on him with Transformers 4 – Age of Extinction: A resume blockbuster never hurts.
