Rep. Matt Gaetz got married this weekend.
The Florida anti-gay congressman married his fiancee, Ginger Luckey, on Catalina Island in California on Saturday afternoon. Vanity Fair described the wedding as a “quiet ceremony” with about 30 guests which was officiated by one of Rand Paul’s assistants.

The day before they exchanged vows, Gaetz took a photo of himself on a plane staring maniacally into the camera with his fainting bride-to-be next to him. Her eyes are bright and bloodshot and she is unconscious with her head back and her mouth wide open.
“So blessed to be with the beautiful @LuckeyGinger,” the 38-year-old lawmaker tweeted.
Now generally speaking, most people would consider taking a photo of a person while they are sleeping and then sharing it with your million followers on Twitter without their consent to be rude at best and deeply creepy at worst. .

It gets even scarier when you’re 40 and have been accused of paying numerous women to use illegal drugs and have sex with you and are currently under federal investigation for having allegedly slept with a high school student and obstructed justice.
Obviously, Gaetz thought his sleeping bride photo was hilarious. The rest of the internet, however, has not. Here is what they say …
