Matt Gaetz’s future sister-in-law wants the world to know that she thinks her future brother-in-law is “weird”, “scary”, a “narcissist”, a “master manipulator”, a “literal pedophile”, and an “ephébophile,” that is, someone who is primarily attracted to adolescents.
Roxanne Luckey, the sister of Gaetz’s fiancee, Ginger Luckey, 26, posted three separate videos this week on her TikTok channel in which she tears up the anti-gay lawmaker for her treatment of women and says she hasn’t “Not surprised” when she first learned he was under federal investigation for alleged teenage sex crimes.
“I saw the character and the type of person he is,” the 20-year-old said in a video, “and when it all came out about him, honestly, I was unfortunately not surprised. . “
Roxanne, who briefly worked as an intern at the White House in 2020, also spoke about her experiences with “creepy old politicians.”
“As someone who has personally experienced a ton of creepy old politicians hitting on me when I was a minor and being sexually assaulted at that age by people in power, it’s very disheartening and I have no tolerance towards people like [Gaetz]. “
She added that she was “tired of them getting away with this stuff.” Then she offered this very cryptic little phrase: “There is so much more to the story and what I know about Matt Gaetz. It is certainly a serious situation.
She also shared a story about a time when Gaetz allegedly tried to put her in touch with a friend of hers, who was much older than her, divorced, and had a child.
According to Roxanne, she was 19 at the time and the “creepy” guy kept hitting on her, even after she told him she had a boyfriend. When she then confronted Gaetz about it, she said he tried to turn it on.
“He immediately got on the defensive and started yelling at my mom and me,” she recalls. “He called me a narcissist, he just cleared me up a thousand percent – became a full-fledged lawyer, ‘I don’t have to listen to you, I don’t have to answer your questions. ‘”
She added, “Someone innocent shouldn’t be that defensive, and literally being a grown man and yelling at a 20-year-old girl is beyond me.”
Shortly after Roxanne posted the videos, Ginger Luckey went on a rampage, telling the Daily Beast that her little sister is sick and has a history of “destructive behavior,” which is ironic given that she is herself- even engaged to one of the most poisonous men on Capitol Hill. Hill.
“Matt and I are enjoying our engagement and are deeply in love,” Ginger said. “My sister from whom I am separated is mentally ill. “
But The Daily Beast notes the two sisters can’t be so far apart since a video Roxanne posted last November shows them both with Gaetz having fun together. (The video has since been made private.)
“She has been in therapy for years and our family is hopeful that after receiving inpatient mental health treatment she will overcome the tendency she has repeatedly shown to engage in destructive behavior,” Ginger said.
As for Gaetz, he did not comment on the words of his future sister-in-law. But it looks like there will be some pretty tough family reunions ahead.
