Before tying the knot this weekend, Rep Matt Gaetz did a super scary thing and tweeted a photo of himself on a plane staring at the camera with shining eyes with his future wife, Ginger Luckey, passed out next to him, his head back and his mouth wide open as if it had just been covered.
Almost everyone agreed the photo was disturbing, especially as the anti-gay lawmaker is currently under investigation for allegedly sleeping with a high school student. Oh, and because he’s been accused of pressuring many women to take drugs before sleeping with him. And also because he has a reputation for sharing private photos of naked women with colleagues upstairs in the House.
Of course, the real victim here is Luckey, since the photo was apparently taken and shared without his consent. To prove that she’s a cool girl who doesn’t mind it all, she retweeted the photo with the caption “No shame in a little beauty sleep.”
We guess it’s good that she wasn’t upset, as a lot of people would; However, her awareness of the situation was not well received by commentators, many of whom felt the need to tell her that she deserved better than a guy who posted humiliating photos of her on the internet the day before. of their marriage.

Gaetz and Luckey got married last Saturday on Catalina Island in California. Vanity Fair described the wedding as a “quiet ceremony” with around 30 guests. Among them was Gaetz’s alleged son, Nestor.
