Melania seems to accept that she will never be welcome in New York again

Like her stepdaughter Ivanka, Melania Trump seems to come to terms with the fact that she is still not welcome in New York and will likely never be able to live there again. At least, not without feeling like a total outcast.

Several media reports that the ex-FLOTUS and his son, Barron, will continue to reside in Mar-a-Lago, Florida for at least a year, if not longer.

The news comes amid reports that Barron, 15, will attend Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach next year, after a note sent to parents earlier this week leaked to the press.

“We look forward to welcoming him to our school and our community,” Preparatory School Advancement Director Scott Siegfried said in a statement after the story ended.

Earlier in the summer, Melania was seen (without her husband) looking happy and walking around Manhattan for the first time since leaving Washington, DC in January.

She lived in the city for most of her adult life, first moving there in 1996, then stubbornly refusing to leave after her husband became President of the United States.

It wasn’t until six months into her first and only term that she reluctantly agreed to give up her elegant New York lifestyle and accept her fate as DC’s political wife and, now a housewife from Florida who lives in a community retirement golf club. .

Last month, a source told People that Melania is “not stupid” and “knows how to manage her life to make it as fulfilling as possible.”
