Born in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada on 9th July  1967, Pamela Denise Anderson (a.k.a Pam Anderson Lee) is a Canadian-American actress and model.

She is famous for her roles on TV Series ‘V.I.P’, ‘Baywatch,’ and  ‘Home Improvement.’  In March 2006, ‘Canada’s Walk of Fame’ awarded her a star. In April 2006, she became the first model and non-singer to host ‘Juno Awards’ held in Canada every year. She also achieved the title of ‘Playmate of the Month’ in February 1990 for Playboy magazine.

Anderson has been active in various movements and campaigns that promote animal rights by criticizing against animal slaughter and encouraging people to follow veganism. She conducted these campaigns with the aid of several animal right organization like People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals(PETA).

EARLY LIFE

Pamela was born to Carol Anderson who, waitress and Barol Anderson, a furnace repairman.  Her great-grandfather were the natives of Finland, who migrated to Canada in around 1908.

Pamela became the talk of the town as soon as she was born because she was the first baby to be born on July 1, 1967, which was the 100th anniversary of Canada’s official founding.

Apart from gaining early popularity, her childhood was very troublesome.  Her father was an alcoholic. She became the victim of repeated sexual abuse, which she revealed only after 2014. She was sexually molested from the age of 6 to 10 by her female babysitter. And, when she was 12 years, she was brutally raped by a man who is yet unknown. Furthermore, she was gang-raped by a couple of her male friends at the age of 14.

Anderson graduated in 1985 from Highland Secondary School before she moved to Vancouver in 1988. She then became a fitness trainer.

 

CAREER

DISCOVERY

Her getaway to modeling opened when a beer company noticed Anderson wearing a Labatt’s Beer t-shirt on a game at the BC Place Stadium. They hired Anderson as a spokesmodel. Dan Ilicic, her boyfriend at that time, publicized her poster image named Blue Zone Girl.

PLAYBOY MAGAZINE CAREER

Anderson has an old relation with the Playboy magazine. Anderson has been modeling for Playboy for twenty-two years.   In October 1989, Playboy Magazine covered her for the first time. She has been featured on Playboy covers on numerous occasions.

Moreover, she has written the prologue in the Playboy’s Greatest Covers, a coffee table book of Playboy.

She got popularity when she increased her breast size to 34D.  She posed as nude in Playboy in February 2016. No one has posed nude ever since.

 

ACTING AND MODELING

She got a small role in “Tool Time Girl” broadcasted by a Los Angeles’,  TV situation comedy, Home Improvement. She played the role for two consecutive seasons and left it. Then, she played as C.J. Parker for five seasons from 1972 to 1997 on Baywatch. She achieved huge praises for this role and also became the only member to play the same character for such extended period of time.

She signed for commercials in 2007 for DirecTV.  Meanwhile, she was modeling for Outdoor Life on the Sidetrack and performed in  “Can’t Have Your Cake,” the first solo album of Vince Neil.

Anderson played in several films like Good Cop, Bad Cop, Barb Wire, Casablanca and also hosted Saturday Night Live as a guest.  She also had an appearance in an alternative rock band music video “miserable.”

Anderson got the official citizenship of the United States on May 12, 2004, while also keeping hold of her Canadian citizenship.  She published a book named Star, co-written by Eric Shaw Quinn. Followed by a sequel Star Truck which was released in 2005.

She was honored as Sex Symbol by Comedy Central on August 14, 2005.

Anderson has appeared on several reality-TV shows like Australian Big Brother, Big Boss(4th Season, India), Big Brother(12th Season, U.K.),  VIP Brother(4th Season, Bulgaria) and Promi Big Brother (1st Season, Germany).  Anderson got an amount of about US Dollar 550,000 for three days visit on Big Boss.

DANCING WITH THE STARS

On March 22, 2010, the tenth season of a dance show named Dancing with the Stars got premiered. Anderson participated as a contestant on the dance show, but after seven weeks from the premiere day, the show eliminated her.  She also entered as a contestant in All-star in 2012 but got terminated in the first week.

She is an activist for animal rights campaign, and raised voices against the use of animal furs and slaughtering of Chickens, Seals and other wildlife.

She campaigned against Kentucky Fried Chicken in the USA and seal hunting in Canada with the support of PETA campaign.  Despite her several attempts to get the attention from the government officials, most of them were obliged to fail.

She raised funds for people affected by AIDS and HIV during several events held in Tokyo, Athens, and Toronto. She has also raised a voice for the legalization of Cannabis by writing an open letter to President Barack Obama.

RELATIONSHIPS

On February 19, 1995, Anderson married to a drummer of Motley Crue, Tommy Lee on a beach. She had known him for about four days before marriage. Her mother was unaware of the wedding until she read about it in People Magazine.

Over the years, she gave birth to two sons.

SEX TAPES CONTROVERSIES

In 1995, a video distribution company, Internet Entertainment Group released a sex tape of Anderson and her husband, Tommy Lee. It exploded the traffic on sites.

After that, an unknown source released a four-minute sex tape of Anderson with  Bret Michaels, on the Internet.
