BIOGRAPHY OF PATRICIA CLARKSON

Patricia Davies Clarkson is born in New Orleans on December 29, 1959 by a school principal and former city councilor Jackie Clarkson. After studying speech therapy, she moved to Fordham University in New York, where she graduated with honors in theater art, later earning her master’s degree in fine arts from the Yale School of Drama. She began her acting career in several theatrical productions, but in 1987 comes the big step that puts her in the glittering world of Hollywood, when Brian De Palma chooses her to play Catherine Ness in The Untouchables – The Untouchables, where the then 28-year-old Patricia made her debut alongside stars of the caliber of Kevin Costner, Robert De Niro is Sean Connery.
