BIOGRAPHY OF PAUL RUDD
Paul Rudd, born Paul Stephen Rudd, was born on April 6, 1969 in Passaic, New Jersey, from parents of English descent. Raised in Lenexa, Kansas, Rudd attended the local university, majoring in theater, then studying acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles; he subsequently continued his studies at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford. While perfecting his acting skills, he tried to support himself with various jobs, such as that of DJing in Bar Mitzvah. In 1992 he made his debut on the small screen in the third season of Sisters as Kirby, the husband of one of the protagonists, Reed, played by Swoosie Kurtz.
