Pink shared beautiful tributes to her late father, Jim Moore.
On Friday (August 27), Page Six confirmed Jim’s death. The “What About Us” singer shared two heartfelt Instagram posts to honor her father.
The first photo, released Thursday, August 26, was of Pink, real name Alecia Moore, and Jim at a concert in New York City in April 2006. The couple duet composed a song Jim wrote while they were in the company. ‘he was serving in the army in Vietnam.
At the time, Pink was welcoming her “favorite person in the world” to the stage. “He wrote a song about 40 years ago in Vietnam and I think it’s important today because it’s a soldier’s cry,” she told the audience. She then performed her song “I Have Seen the Rain” with the accompaniment of her father on the guitar.
The second photo shared on Friday was of the father-daughter duo sharing a dance when Pink was a child, as well as a photo of the dancing duo during their 2006 wedding to Carey Hart. His friends paid tribute to Jim and sent their condolences to Pink.
“The worst pain 
I love you, ”wrote author Jen Pastiloff, who is friends with PINk.
“I loved her so much,” responded actress Kerri Kenney-Silver, who spoke at the Pink’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in 2019.
“Oh my love. Your precious heart. Oh, it’s so hard,” added photographer Jade Beall.
In July 2020, PINk revealed that his father had prostate cancer and was undergoing chemotherapy. He was one of his biggest supporters.
“Nothing is better and wilder than seeing her do that.” She said she was going to do it when she was a kid and she meant it, ”Jim said in an interview about his daughter chasing her dreams in 2000.
Jim is survived by his wife, Grace Lilleg Moore, Pink, son Jason Moore and four grandchildren, including Pink and Carey’s two children – Willow, 10, and Jameson, 4.
