The Sugar Daddy site wants absolutely nothing to do with Matt Gaetz

Matt Gaetz’s ongoing federal investigation into adolescent sex trafficking has just taken a weird and unexpected turn.

A Sugar Daddy website believed to be linked to the investigation just released a statement saying that, contrary to many reports, the anti-gay lawmaker never had a profile on the site, so if everyone could stop saying that he had, that would be great for their branding.

SeekingArrangement markets itself as the “Sugar Daddy’s First Dating Site” by connecting young “sugar babies” with older, wealthier men. Last weekend he was forced to release the statement due to another bizarre twist in Gaetz’s story involving none other than Rachel Uchitel, who is probably best known for being the former mistress of Tiger Woods appearing on Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew.

OK, OK, now we know what you’re probably thinking: What does Rachel Uchitel have to do with the Matt Gaetz teenage sex scandal?

The answer: Absolutely nothing!

Political reports:

Former mistress of golfer Tiger Woods sued [SeekingArrangement] claiming that she had wrongly terminated her contract as a spokesperson for the company. The plaintiff, Rachel Uchitel, said she was fired because SeekingArrangement was limiting the damage due to the Gaetz investigation, which has nothing to do with his trial.

According to Uchitel, she was offered $ 120,000 to be the website spokesperson and help destigmatize Sugar Daddy’s arrangements earlier this year. But after it was reported that Gaetz had a profile on the site, the company suspended all marketing campaigns, which resulted in her being released from her contract earlier. Now she is suing for the remaining $ 60,000 owed to her.

But the company is backing down.

In a lengthy statement, he says he has “no knowledge that Mr. Gaetz ever had an account on the website” and that Uchitel’s termination was “in no way related to the state of the business within the company, to current events or to celebrities and / or politicians.

“Her remarks about Representative Gaetz were entirely fabricated and are unfounded as at no time did Ms. Uchitel have any personal knowledge of the website other than those she may have personally encountered as a user of the site,” adds the press release.

When asked how he determined that Gaetz had never been on SeekingArrangement, a company spokesperson did not respond. Meanwhile, Harlan Hill, a spokesperson for Gaetz, calls it “sad.”

“The media lies about Representative Gaetz fell like dominoes, including the bogus ‘SeekingArrangement’ allegations,” he said in a written statement. “The new ploy for attention seekers appears to be to ditch a famous lawmaker for a few minutes of fame.”

“The new trend is to have Matt Gaetz in your legal drama to grab the headlines. Sad!”

The congressman also wasted no time posting the story on Twitter, writing: “Months ago I said the truth would prevail. Now we are seeing the collapse of Fake News media lies.

Months ago, I said the truth would prevail. Now we are seeing the collapse of Fake News media lies:

It doesn’t mean what you think it does, it doesn’t mean you aren’t being investigated by the @FBI

Did they check under Miles Long and Frank Lee-Huge?

“A company spokesperson declined to comment on how he determined Gaetz was not on SeekingArrangement.”

Seems foolproof.
