Watch J. Lo and Ben Affleck dance to “Jenny From the Block”

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck partied for J. Lo’s 52nd birthday.

On Saturday July 24, Bennifer made things official on Instagram with a photo of the couple kissing on the pop icon’s birthday post. However, things at the party were even more nostalgic and fun with the couple dancing to J. Lo’s past hits.

Bennifer hosted his birthday party at the Opera in Saint-Tropez, France. They didn’t rent out the entire club, so there were regular guests, some of whom managed to capture some of the couple’s sweet moments.

J. Lo donned a Dolce & Gabbana dress and hit the dance floor. At one point in the evening, DJ Hugo M played his hit “Jenny From the Block”. You will remember Affleck played his love in the music video for the single. The couple sang the song while drinking champagne and then performed on their other hit, “Let’s Get Loud”.

Ironically, in 2008 Affleck told The Irish Examiner that he wished he had never acted in the clip.

“If I have one big regret, it was making the clip. But it happened years ago. I moved on, ”he said at the time.

The couple arrived at the party around 11 p.m. and partied the night away with a few of their close friends. One of the guests, Dr. Daniel Campos revealed to E! News that they had spent the evening holding hands and that “they really looked in love.” The revelers held up signs for the birthday girl and gathered around the table to sing “Happy Birthday”.

“I think they felt pretty comfortable there,” he added. “My table was next to theirs and I didn’t feel like they were trying to isolate themselves. Of course there were bodyguards but we all got up and danced and he didn’t. There was no hustle and bustle or space restriction. It was like any other jet setter couple celebrating something big. “
