BIOGRAPHY OF VIDYA BALAN
Actress. His father, PR Balan, is the vice president of the Indian channel ETC Channel. She has lived since childhood with her family in Mumbai, where she studied and attended university until she graduated in Sociology. He began his career starring in some music videos, commercials and soap operas. She made her film debut in Bengali, “Bhalo Theko”, in 2003. Bollywood opened its doors to her with the film “Parineeta” in 2005. She made a special appearance in “Om Shanti Om”. In addition to acting, she is involved in many humanitarian projects such as educational programs for Indian children and Harvard AIDS Institute events. In 2012 she married producer Siddharth Roy Kapur. In 2013 he was on the jury of the 66th edition of the Cannes Film Festival.
