There’s a new fake It Couple that’s taking TikTok by storm. Of course, we’re talking about Lizzo and Chris Evans, who are currently lighting up social media with one flirtatious DM after another.
Their love story is truly one for the history books. Lizzo proposed to the Captain America star on Twitter in 2019 after sharing one of his tweets. (Talk about when to take your shot and how to play the long game!)
Although Lizzo has been publicly thirsty for her man for some time, the fake relationship really took off in April when the “Tempo” diva showed her followers that she sent Evans a DM in drunk. “Don’t drink and DM the kids,” she captioned hysterical TikTok.
But … maybe we’d better not take that advice. Lizzo followed up the video with a second clip revealing that sometimes it really pays off to flirt drunkenly with your favorites. Why? Because they can react … which is exactly what the movie star did.
“No shame on a drunk DM, god knows I did worse with this app lol,” Evans teased, nodding shyly at his accidental leak of nude photos from 2020.
And that’s how Lizzo and Evans’ adorable relationship began.
All was calm on LizEvans’ frontline until last week, when Lizzo provided an unexpected but very welcome relationship update: As rumors have it, they are expecting their first child together! (A joke, of course.)
“It’s something that I have really tried to keep personal and private. Right between me and the father of my child,” she announced of Captain America’s recognizable score.
“Since we put all the rumors out today, I’m yearning,” the superstar singer announced before kissing her belly like a baby bump. “We’re going to have a little America.”
Because their chemistry is literally the dictionary’s definition of perfect, Chris Evans jumped at the joke.
“I just heard about our little bundle of joy,” he told the musician (which Lizzo courteously shared on TikTok). “My mother will be so happy.” Lizzo celebrated getting the “child support bag” and asked for help naming their imaginary future child, who is currently called Lil ‘Merica.

We already know all about Lizzo’s brilliant sense of humor on social media. After all, we wouldn’t have a new fake couple to defend if the hit-maker hadn’t drunk Chris Evans drunk and then shared proof of his daring move on TikTok.
However, it’s worth noting that the Lightyear actor is just as nimble with his Twitter fingers. For starters, publications like BuzzFeed praise its “healthy” tweets, which are literally the epitome of the relatable.
The best example of Evans’ ease on social media is how he handled the accidental sharing of an NSFW photo on his Instagram Story last year. Instead of logging out and hiding until the story ends, Evans has turned the situation into an opportunity to encourage people who view his page to vote.

Speaking of which, Chris Evans and Lizzo take politics seriously and often urge their fans to get involved and make their voices heard. Evans even co-founded a new political platform called A Starting Point with the aim of creating “a two-party channel of communication and connectivity between Americans and their elected officials with the aim of creating a more informed electorate.”

Lizzo is just as politically engaged as the man of her dreams. The “Boys” icon created a video urging fans to come out and vote last year. “Let’s send our vote so that we can resume the good fight for true freedom and justice for ALL,” she wrote in a passionate note that accompanied the empowering video.
It should be noted that Lizzo and Evans have also been advocating for better gun safety and an end to gun violence since at least 2019.

Lizzo and Chris Evans work hard to help make the world a better place through civic engagement. They also provide endless entertainment with their music and acting. But what if they wanted to get together for a quiet evening together?
If that was the case, they might well get together for a date with a puppy. Lizzo adopted a rescue dog named Poke in 2019. Evans, meanwhile, posts all kinds of adorable photos of his rescue dog Dodger on social media.
He shared a video of the day he met Dodger to celebrate National Rescue Dog Day earlier this year and wrote a heartfelt post urging others to help an animal in need.
“There are so many loving animals in shelters who are in desperate need of a home. Visit a shelter and go with a best friend,” he urged.

Although she has yet to debut in any of the films, her music has been featured in a Marvel 2019 comic, making her Marvel canon. The “Juice” superstar, a self-identified “nerd”, was clearly beside herself when she found out.
