Another day, another inflammatory and inflammatory remark about the homelessness of multimillionaire Caitlyn Jenner.
Yesterday, the California gubernatorial candidate tweeted a New York Post article about homeless camps in the Venice Beach neighborhood of Los Angeles, with the caption:
“As governor, I will work with local leaders to continue cleaning up the mess years of democratic rule have left us. We need to clean our streets and improve the quality of life for all Californians. “

The tweet comes a week after Jenner, estimated to be worth $ 100 million, went to a local LA news station to suggest rounding up all of the city’s homeless people and dropping them off in “a open field in a place “where they are likely to kill each other.”
“The crime rate is increasing,” she said. “These are mainly homeless murders against homeless people. We can’t have it on our streets.
“We have to provide a place for these people to go, whether it’s an open field to a location or if you notice in the vets facility. There’s these big open fields and a lot of places there.
Homeless people are fed up with seeing Caitlyn Jenner riding a bike and wondering how she’s a multimillionaire when she hasn’t had a job for 30 years. https://t.co/SRdAnnAVnN

And now, the responses to his last tweet …
By “cleaning our streets” I guess you mean forcibly removing already very disadvantaged human beings and putting them somewhere else where the rich don’t have to watch them. Meaningful, long-term solutions to tackle the real roots of homelessness?

Curious. . . what experience do you have with the homeless? Every volunteer, went to a public meeting, or even made a donation? As long as they stay away from your airplane hangar, you’re fine.

What’s your plan to clean up the “mess?” “
– SO (@sue_oshea) July 7, 2021
She wants to ship them somewhere in an “open field”. I don’t know if she was thinking of an empty asphalt-covered space near the Rosecrans Veterans Center. I’ll just make it someone else’s problem.

Will you always do it when you are not a governor? What have you done to help so far?

Uh, looks like they started without you. 🤔

They are people. No dirt. No mess.
People.
Try to get out of your ivory tower and actually help those who need it.
That’s what great leaders do.

Enough with empty platitudes. Give an example of a policy your administration would implement to resolve issues, or just stay silent.

As well as being a strong supporter of Trump, even after acknowledging that he is “the worst president we have ever had” when it comes to LGBTQ rights, Jenner believes that “biological boys should not be allowed to participate in girls’ sports ”and said it was easier to come out as a trans than to come out as a Republican.
