After comparing the mask warrants to the yellow stars that European Jews were forced to wear during the Holocaust, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene became trapped in yet another Nazi scandal. This time it is a hypothetical statue of Adolf Hitler.
A newly discovered video shows the congresswoman from QAnon arguing over the monuments at a city council meeting. It was recorded in June 2020, shortly after winning his GOP primary, and shared on Twitter this week by reporter Jake Sherman.

It shows then-candidate Greene speaking to city council in Dalton, Georgia. She deplores the “attacks” on statues of figures like George Washington, Abe Lincoln and Christopher Columbus, saying she is opposed to the removal of monuments of people she “strongly disagrees with.[s] with.”
Then she cites Adolf Hitler and “Satan himself” as examples, telling the council, “I wouldn’t say take it away” in an effort to “teach others who these people are, what they have done.” .
Yesterday, Parliamentary Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy issued a statement condemning Greene’s comments on mask warrants and the Holocaust, saying: “Marjorie is wrong, and her intentional decision to compare the horrors of the Holocaust with the wearing masks is appalling.
He added: “The Holocaust is the greatest atrocity committed in history. The fact that this has to be said is deeply troubling.
Neither he nor Greene have commented on this latest video of his champion Hitler statues. While folx on Twitter certainly has a lot to say about it …

After Nazi Germany, the statues of Hitler were removed. Yet no German has forgotten the Holocaust. In fact, every child is well educated on the terrible history of Germany.
But of course, Marjorie Taylor Greene would advocate for keeping statues of Hitler and Satan, given that they appear to be her idols.
