BIOGRAPHY OF JORDAN PEELE
Jordan Haworth Peele, known only as Jordan Peele, is born in New York City on February 21, 1979 from an African American father and an American mother, who raised him alone on Manhattan’s Upper West Side. After enrolling at Sarah Lawrence College, he dropped out of school to pursue a film career. Peele, like many other eclectic characters in the world of cinema, began as an actor, mainly comedian, performing with the Dutch group Boom Chicago, who writes and interprets sketches dealing with social and political issues, and with i The Second City, Chicago’s first improvisational theater company.
In 2003 he joined the cavalry of the ninth season of the American variety show Mad TV, for which he won an Emmy in 2008, along with Greg O’Connor is Jim Wise, for the lyrics and music of “Sad Fitty Cent” – parody on 50 Cent who complains about the rivalry with Kanye West.
