BIOGRAPHY OF JORGE BLANCO
Jorge Blanco is a Mexican actor and singer known to the general public for playing the role of Leon, the boy Violetta is in love with, in all three seasons of the famous Violetta’s television series, produced by Disney Channel.
He achieved notoriety in 2007 thanks to the musical reality show High School Musical: La Selección, thanks to which he landed a role in High School Musical – The Challenge, a spin-off of the hit film High School Musical.
In 2011, Blanco landed a starring role in the Argentine sitcom Cuando Toca La Campana, and then played the coveted role of the young heartthrob León in Violetta. He also performed on two Violetta live concert tours, and won four Kids’ Choice Awards as Audience Favorite Actor in Argentina, Colombia and Mexico (twice). In 2016, Blanco reprises his role as Leon in the film Tini – The new life of Violetta.
