BIOGRAPHY OF MARY STEENBURGEN
Mary Steenburgen was born there‘February 8, 1953 in Newport, Arkansas, where in 1971 he began studying acting at Hendrix College, so impressing his teacher that he proposed that she go to Dallas to audition at the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York. After the selection, Steenburgen moved to Manhattan in 1972 and studied at the Will Esper Studio, while maintaining a job as a waitress.
