BIOGRAPHY OF SANDRA CECCARELLI
Actress. Daughter of the guitarist of Equipe ’84 Franco Ceccarelli, she attended the Academy of Fine Arts and before becoming an actress she worked as an illustrator, in advertising and in fashion. At the age of 15 she was chosen by chance to play Stefania Sandrelli’s daughter in the film “Segreti segrerti” by Giuseppe Bertolucci, but her real film debut dates back to 1998 with “Three stories” by Piergiorgio Gay and Roberto San Pietro. Later it was called by Ermanno Olmi for “The profession of arms” and by Giuseppe Piccioni for “Light of my eyes”. With the role of Maria interpreted in Piccioni’s film, she earned the Coppa Volpi at the 58th Venice Film Festival.
