Aerosmith are an American hard & heavy group, formed in Boston in 1970. Among the most successful artists in rock history, they influenced much of the music in the seventies and eighties, and contributed to the development of various genres such as hard rock and heavy metal. In turn, Aerosmith drew on the Rolling Stones (especially the more “decadent” ones of Sticky Fingers and Exile On Main Street), their greatest influence, for their attitude and sound.
